Pat Chalfant, Author Of 'Spirit Lights, Offers Alternative Solution To Those Who Might Be Considering Suicide

According to the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention's 2012 Annual Report, there are 38,000 suicides in the US annually. While many people see no other option, Chalfant believes there are options and those options are available to anyone

According to the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention's 2012 Annual Report, there are 38,000 suicides in the US annually. Another source claims that this makes suicide the 10th leading cause of death in the US. These numbers are staggering.

Regardless of form, a sense of hopelessness lies at the very heart of the desire to end one's life through suicide. Pat Chalfant, author of 'Spirit Lights, A Path To Mediumship', believes that death is not the end, but is instead a transition. In her work she has observed that hopelessness can be turned into hope when life and death are viewed in their proper perspectives.

"Recently a woman I was giving an initial reading to told me she had cried all day long for many weeks because she feared she might kill herself," Chalfant stated. "I began to tell her about an earlier client of mine, Sonya, who had also had suicidal thoughts, and about Sonya’s fiancé who had not been able to overcome his suicidal thoughts and actually did kill himself.  I had read for Sonya and contacted her deceased fiancé.  That made Sonya want to study mediumship so that she might perhaps contact her deceased fiancé for herself through mediumship, even though I told her that it might be a long time before she developed enough to do that. Sonya and I were in class together one day and when we reached the end of the final part of the class, the general meditation, I closed the meditation by inquiring if Sonya whose eyes were still closed was aware of being in class; she replied that she was but immediately began telling me that she had never had such a wonderful experience before."

"I asked what she meant and she proceeded to tell me what she had seen and heard and how she had been completely healed of her suicidal fears starting with the fact that she had seen her fiancé and that he looked as if he were alive and she could see for herself that he was, indeed, alive and well.  What happened after that was that she was healed in the most remarkable way, one I could never have imagined.  My book tells the reader this blessed story in the chapter titled, “A Visit During a Tutorial…"  What happened saved Sonya’s life.  I hope it will be as health-giving for readers as it has been for me and others."

Chalfant has also written a column on parapsychology and interviewed Hollywood stars and the psychics who read for them for a national newspaper.

Chalfant's groundbreaking new book, 'Spirit Lights A Path To Mediumship', explains how a skeptic developed mediumship abilities and took her life down a path to a life transformed by the spiritual. She considers the book to be an "autobiographical textbook."

Pat understands that mediumship is a controversial issue, but also believes that credible mediumship holds the promise of benefits for mankind that have not been fully explored. This is especially true for those who are contemplating suicide, or whose lives have been affected by suicide.

In addition to client consultations, Pat has penned the 'Spirit Lights Song Book'. She also does readings for clients by phone and teaches mediumship development classes. She has also created a DVD entitled 'Spirit Lights Psychic Development DVD'.
