Romantic Fiction Author Rusty Blackwood Offers Romance Novel "Passions In Paris" As Kindle Giveaway

Blackwood's new romance novel, available on August 22, 2013 at no charge, is written in the tradition of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' and 'What Dreams May Come'. Recent reviewers have compared it to Erich Segal's 'Love Story' and Nicholas Sparks' 'The Notebook'. The novel presents an intense story of soul mates whose love spans lifetimes

Canadian Indie author Rusty Blackwood is offering a no charge download of 'Passions in Paris: Revelations Of A Lost Diary' in Kindle format. The giveaway will take place on August 22, 2013. The new romantic fiction novel, a sweeping saga written in the tradition of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' and 'What Dreams May Come', has been compared to Erich Segal's 'Love Story' and Nicholas Sparks' 'The Notebook'. The novel has also received extremely positive reviews from Reader's Favorite reviewers.

"I'm really excited about the up-coming give-away," says Rusty, "for it not only allows an excellent opportunity for readers to obtain a copy of my beautiful new novel, but it hopefully encourages both interest and added exposure to my work." Ms. Blackwood further states, "Word of mouth is important to the success of a new title, and it is my hope that word begins to travel like wildfire."

In the new novel the city of Paris, one of the most romantic places in the world, sets the scene for what some believe could be one of the best romance novels to come along in ages. The book is peppered with drama, intrigue, deception, adultery and jealousy. The fictional romance centers on star-crossed lovers Joy Wychmere and Cullen Malone. A diary, lost for almost half a century, opens a door to the past and one fateful evening changes two lives forever.

Reader Fred Pifer stated the new romance book, "is a fascinating book of a love story that seemed to be written with me in mind. In the book 'Love Story' by Erich Segal, he told of a deep abiding love story that reminds me of Cullen and Joy’s in Ms. Blackwood’s book, but the twists of intrigue and mystery that she adds keeps the reader on edge throughout."

Linkk Kulakane said, "Passions in Paris I think stands it ground with these other powerful romantic stories like 'The Notebook' by Nicolas Sparks. A long kindled love, which finds its place from a romantic spark in the mind of one, to a mounting real life experience between two different worlds, brought together by an on going weave of circumstances, doubts, mystery, and intrigue, that sets ablaze forbidden emotions on a roller coaster ride of endless desire, and surmounting obstacles, that test the strength of their determination to prevail. Miss Blackwood has a rare talent to bring this and more into the minds and hearts of those who have had the privilege to be transported into her wonderful world of story telling."

Other reviewers have praised the new romance book. Reviewer Cat Howard said, "Eternal love, finding your true soul mate, and how echoes from past lives can influence the present, this story has it all . . . " Another Reader's Favorite reviewer stated, "Enjoyable and exciting, this is a book for people who have romance flowing in their veins."

The giveaway will take place on August 22, 2013. Readers can download the book at Amazon.com. 'Passions In Paris: Revelations Of A Lost Diary' is also available at Amazon in paperback, Barnes and Noble in paperback, and Create Space.

Nancy will share her experiences as an animal communicator, which began back on her farm in New Jersey in the early 90s.  She will discuss how she discovered and then developed her skills in telepathic animal communication. Nancy will introduce several innovative healing modalities she’s worked with for more than 15 years to help solve her clients’ issues. She will teach attendees what an animal communicator can offer both people and pets. Nancy invites all questions and has structured the presentation to be an interactive and informative presentation on animal communication and healing. Nancy will provide a communication demonstration with a pet chosen by the gracious host and owner of The Wisdom Tree.

"One way I can help heal the human-animal bond," Kaiser stated, "is by creating a better understanding of telepathic animal communication. I want people to get a feel for the process of animal communication along with several of the healing modalities I work with to help animals cope with the life they've chosen in the human world. My desire is to help people understand what an animal communication consultant can offer them and their pets. It's not always about bad behavior or serious physical problems. My hope is that a better informed and educated public will result in not only less anxious and stressed pets, but also deeper relationships between people and their pets. I will answer any and all questions as honestly as I can. My goal is to be a source of information and assistance for the animal-loving public."

In her role as an animal communicator, Nancy Kaiser demonstrates that learning to communicate with animals can lead to a better understanding and a deeper relationship with pets.  Communication with animals through an animal communication consultant is important in regards to facilitating healing, increasing understanding between people and their pets and in the development of solutions for behavioral problems.

Her latest book, ‘Tales Of An Animal Communicator’, chronicles the tales of the remarkable animals that taught Nancy Kaiser that she was destined to be an animal communicator and healer. Having left pharmacy to manage her equine hospital and breeding farm in central New Jersey, she found that astonishing animals and events began entering her life. Baby Survives Fatal Diagnosis: Inspirational Book, 'Tales2Inspire', Recounts Miraculous Tale

Nothing is more heartbreaking than a fatal diagnosis for an infant. But miracles can happen. 'Tales2Inspire' is a compilation of miraculous stories. One of those inspirational stories demonstrates clearly that miracles can and do take place

U.S. Representative Jaime Herrera Beutler's two-week-old baby is believed by doctors to be the first child to survive Potter Sequence, a usually fatal in-utero illness caused by prenatal kidney failure. This inspirational story, one that made headlines around the world, demonstrates that medical miracles can and do happen. Author Lois W. Stern, creator of a series of inspirational books entitled 'Tales2Inspire', believes that these kinds of miracles happen more often than we might think and that a fatal diagnosis is not necessarily the end.

One of the stories in 'Tales2Inspire', recounted by Cami Ann Hofstadter, is entitled 'Maintenance For My Soul: The Man From Nowhere'. In this story a mysterious stranger, dressed as a maintenance man, appears out of nowhere right after Cami's baby is given a life-shattering diagnosis.

"Reading about the in-utero medical intervention that saved US representative Jaime Herrera Beutler's newborn baby’s life," Hofstadter stated, "brought back memories of my ‘Man From Nowhere’ story. Like many other parents, I was devastated when told that the chances of my baby surviving surgery were next to nil. Then along came this man from nowhere, who didn’t say anything profound, speak of miracles or quote from a religious text, but gave me hope. He was right. My baby was found to be perfectly healthy, without need for surgical intervention. Although U.S. Representative Jaime Herrera Beutler's experience is different, - in her case her growing embryo’s lungs would have ceased to develop without the in-utero medical intervention that changed a death sentence to a healthy life - as mothers, we share our awe when faced with a miracle. In the words of the late Gilda Radner, I like to think of these moments as "delicious ambiguity". What other words best capture the angel driven miracles we both experienced?"

Stern’s collection of inspirational and motivational stories asks the question, “Is there really such a thing as coincidence, or could there be an unknown force, a higher power, taking charge?” This is a question readers are likely to ponder as they read the collection of life inspiring messages contained within the pages of ‘Tales2Inspire’.

"The inspiring messages," Stern stated, "embedded in the winning stories in this Tales 2 Inspire: Beyond Coincidence collection have deepened my faith in the nature of miracles. Angels in human form truly can appear to watch over us, touching our lives in mysterious ways to help our prayers unfold."

In a recent review of ‘Tales2Inspire’, Bernie Siegel, MD, author of ‘A Book Of Miracles’ and ‘365 Prescriptions for the Soul' stated, “This is a book with a heart. Filled with stories which reveal what happens when we choose to live in a way that is life enhancing for all God's creatures. Our potential is miraculous when we choose to inspire the vapor of love. The people in these stories have always been my teachers. Read and learn the lessons of life.”

Each edition of ‘Tales2Inspire’ is a compilation of inspiring stories from contributing authors. Inspirational stories, submitted by authors, are judged by a peer group to determine eligibility for publication. There are no fees to submit for consideration, and winning authors receive many no-charge platform building opportunities. Future submission categories are likely to include themes such as Compassion, Reflections, Awakenings, Courage, Faith (non-denominational), Everyday Miracles, Dreams Fulfilled and Success through Perseverance, with those currently open continually updated on the Tales2inspire website.

Lois W. Stern is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at tales2inspire@optimum.net. ‘Tales2Inspire’ is available at Amazon and other online retailers. More information is available at the website at http://www.tales2inspire.com.

Profiles:

After twenty years as an active educator, Lois W. Stern continued to pursue her love for writing, and soon became co-editor of the then popular Long Island web-zine, LI EYE.

As she created and authored the column ‘Ordinary People, Extraordinary Lives’, she solidified her special niche as an investigative journalist and put those same talents to work in ‘Sex, Lies and Cosmetic Surgery’ while interviewing over one hundred women about some of the most intimate, provocative aspects of their lives. Shortly thereafter, Lois followed up with her second book, ‘Tick Tock, Stop the Clock – Getting Pretty on Your Lunch Hour’, as a means of helping to make affordable, less invasive forms of ageless beauty a reality for many women.  Lois Explains that she particularly enjoys the experience of getting to know each of her interview subjects as unique individuals. “There are some qualities one can't fake,” says Lois, who firmly believes that much of her success as an author is due to her personal touch: her ability to develop sincere relationships, unique story angles, and skilled human-based presentations.

More than a creation, ‘Tales2Inspire’ has become a passion, to which Lois dedicates over 100 hours per week. Her just published Emerald Collection, the first of her Tales2Inspire™ anthologies, is filled with ‘Beyond Coincidence’ true stories. Her goal is to continue to publish more winning inspirational stories in a series of short gift book collections with the name of each author credited for their story.

Cami Ann Hofstadter is a published author and educator in Miami, Florida. Under different names for different genres, she has been published in venues from a law review to a local newspaper. She had a long-standing monthly column in Miami Today, and continues to do human interest stories that challenge the thought-processes of her readers. Check out her latest piece in the Feb. 2012 issue of Golf Digest to see how years of caring for a depressive, obsessive-compulsive man continues to provide rich fodder for her current work on a book about loving a person like that. She’s also trying her hands at a play about a Holocaust-related incident in her native Scandinavia.

Abortion, God and Science: Author Jerry Pollock Offers A New Perspective On Abortion

God and science is not a phrase that comes to mind when the topic of abortion comes up. Jerry Pollock, author of 'Little Book Of God : Merging Science With God', believes the questions raised by abortion are more complex than the pro-choice versus pro-life discussion

The news for Saturday July 13, 2013 stated, “Texas Legislature under Governor Rick Perry’s Leadership Restricts Abortion.” In Texas, a woman can no longer abort her unborn fetus after twenty weeks of pregnancy. Moreover abortion clinics must now meet the same standards as hospital style surgical centers.

"Is this a victory," asked Pollock, "for both the pro choice and pro life beliefs? It’s certainly not a victory for the low standard of care provided by many of the abortion clinics and they should rightly be pushed out of business by the enacted new laws in Texas."

For forty years Dr. Pollock has been a scientist. During the past fifteen years on the spiritual ladder, he has blended God and science. Yet he has mixed feelings on abortion.

"Through both Primal Therapy and hypnotic past life-spirit world regression," Pollock continued, "I have many times gone back to my time as a fetus in my mother’s womb and experienced firsthand how she tried to abort me during the first trimester of pregnancy. I am pro life therefore for selfish reasons. I wouldn’t be here writing this piece if my mother’s abortion had been successful. I am also pro choice with restrictions as I do believe that if God wanted all conceived babies to live, there wouldn’t be any miscarriages."

In Dr. Pollock's opinion, God is Energy and His Energy has intelligence. He has trillions to quadrillions of times more energy than any one human being. This limitless Energy is the source of God’s Omnipotence or all powerfulness and represents an organizing intelligence that is the being of us all. He takes the position that God preplanned our universe and our entire body mechanisms. The miracle of the fertilization of the egg by the sperm was known to God before the beginning of time some 14 billion years ago.

"God foresaw the complete development and maturing of a fetus," Pollock concluded" and set in motion sophisticated anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, chemistry, and biochemistry for the human body. The nine month period of the mother’s pregnancy is no accident and it takes about forty-five days after conception when all body biological systems, including all neurological systems, are functioning when life is possible. I would humbly offer that the first trimester of pregnancy be the red line maximum, as the fetus biological functioning would have evolved past God’s acceptance of the definition of when life began. No abortions should therefore be carried out in my opinion after ninety days because God’s miracle of life has evolved. However a mother's Free Will should totally supersede my opinion if a woman wants to abort in the second trimester or even in the third.”

Pollock latest work, "Little Book Of God: Merging Science With God", sheds new light on the God and science debate and covers nearly the entire spectrum of the human experience. Subjects found in the Table of Contents include:

God Preplanned Our World
God’s Beginnings
God and Science
God is Omnipresent
God is Omniscient
God’s Light Energy is the Chi
Origin of Thoughts
Transmission of Thoughts
God’s Omnipotence
Why Both Creation and Evolution?
Miracles of Adam and Eve
The Ten Commandments
Religion and Spirituality
Our Evil Inclination; Our Animal Soul
The Covenant

and much more.

Lack Of Resiliency Is The Cause Of School Violence Says Kasey Crawford Kellem, Author Of ‘Believe’

Kasey Crawford Kellem, founder of Mind Over Matter Books, offers children’s books that teach children coping skills to deal with bullying, anxiety, depression, divorce and more

Resiliency is defined as the ability to overcome or rebound from adversity, challenges or other issues. Our children must deal with many challenges – bullying, divorce, abuse, death of family members or friends, depression and a host of other issues. Many are not prepared to face these challenges. Kasey Crawford Kellem, author, school counselor and founder of Mind Over Matter Books, hopes to help children better prepare for life challenges through her series of children’s books, specifically written for pre-schoolers.

“A lack of resiliency,” Kellem stated,” has been the direct cause of increased school violence and shootings. We need only to look closely at incidents that occurred in which a person intentionally shot innocent students, teachers and/or staff members. After each shooting or massacre, it was reported that each offender had faced some form of adversity in his life.”

April 20, 1999:  Columbine High School, Columbine, Colorado:  Eric Harris, 18, helped kill 12 students and one teacher, and wounded 21 others before committing suicide. The son of an Air Force pilot, Harris moved around several times as a child. The adversities faced: Grief (homes, friends, schools)

March 21, 2005: Red Lake Senior High School, Red Lake, Minnesota: Jeffrey Weise, 16,  killed his grandfather and his grandfather's girlfriend at their home. along with seven people on the high school campus. Weise was living with relatives who helped him get treatment to deal with his behavioral issues and depression after his mother suffered severe brain damage in a car accident and his father had committed suicide.  The adversities faced: Disease, disability and death.

2008: Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois: Steven Kazmierczak killed five people and injured another twenty-one, before committing suicide.   In high school he was treated temporarily for mental illness, reported "unruly" at home and was bullied in high school. His mother died in Lakeland, Florida in September 2006 from  Lou Gehrig’s disease. The adversities faced: Bullying, disease and death.

January 5, 2011:  Millard South High School:  Robert Butler Jr., 18, shot and killed the Assistant Principal, wounded the Principal  and then fatally shot himself. In the expletive-laced rant, Butler, who had been at the school for only two months after moving from Lincoln, Neb., wrote that the new city and the new school had changed him. The adversity faced: Grief (new school, home, friends)

February 27, 2012: Chardon High School, Chardon, Ohio: Thomas "T.J." Lane, 17, killed 3 students and injured 3 others. T.J. grew up with domestic violence  with his father eventually serving time in jail for assault. T.J. was later raised with several other step-siblings by his grandparents. The adversities faced: Divorce, abuse.

December 14, 2012: Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newtown, Connecticut. 20-year-old Adam Lanza fatally killed his mother and then shot twenty children and six adult staff members.  He then took his own life with one of the handguns as police arrived at the school.  The troubled boy was a target of relentless bullying when he attended the Connecticut school years ago.The adversities faced: Divorce, disease, bullying

Mind Over Matter (M.O.M.) Books are geared towards preschoolers to introduce them to resiliency skills. Children must be prepared with the right tools to face the challenges, adversity and obstacles that may become a part of their lives. There are five books emphasizing the important factors for resiliency:

BELIEVE - LOVE - LAUGH - RELAX - DREAM

Each book shows, through whimsical illustrations and simple wording, how to be resilient. Children will learn to:

BELIEVE in their possibilities,
LOVE the people, animals and experiences they encounter,
LAUGH at playful experiences,
RELAX creatively, and
DREAM pleasant thoughts.

The books are also designed to be decorations in a child’s bedroom or playroom on bookshelves, nightstands, or desks, which will serve as constant resiliency reinforcement.

“Though we are all born with the innate capacity for resilience,” Kellem continued, “some people do not gain the necessary skills to fully adapt. Therefore, children need to be taught at early ages the qualities that foster successful adaptation and transformation despite risk and adversity. These characteristics include: social competence, problem-solving skills, critical consciousness, autonomy and a sense of purpose. Several factors contribute to resiliency including caring relationships, high expectations and opportunities for meaningful participation.  Individuals missing these factors tend to become the perpetrators of such unnecessary school crimes.”

Kasey Crawford Kellem is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at mindovermatterbooks@gmail.com. More information is available at the Mind Over Matter Books website. The first two books in the series, ‘Believe’ and ‘Love’ are available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and at Halo Publishing International. More information is available at Kellem’s website at http://www.MindOverMatterBooks.com.

About Kasey Crawford Kellem:

Kasey Crawford Kellem is the author of Believe and the creator of Mind Over Matter Books. She has been a high school guidance counselor in Parma, Ohio for the past 13 years. Prior to that she taught special education in an Olmsted Falls elementary school and at Brooklyn Middle School where she was also a guidance counselor.

She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education (Special Ed/Elementary Ed), a Masters in Education (Special Ed) and an Educational Specialist Degree (School Counseling).

Internet Marketing Firm, Free Publicity Focus Group, Produces New Video 'The Best Marketing Strategy Ever'

Top ranked marketing and publicity firm proposes that creating success in today's marketing environment requires a targeted strategic marketing approach based on inbound marketing best practices and content distribution

The Free Publicity Focus Group, a top ranked Internet marketing and publicity firm, recently released a video entitled 'The Best Marketing Strategy Ever?' The video demonstrates how to create Internet marketing success. The video cautions against using outbound marketing strategies in an inbound Internet marketing environment.

"Many Internet marketing approaches," stated Don McCauley, facilitator of FPFG, "fall into one of three categories - advertising, social media approaches or inbound search engine marketing. Of the three, inbound search engine marketing likely holds the most value for small businesses or those marketing individual products. Content marketing has become the dominant strategic approach used today. Searchers in the buying cycle demand pertinent information in the decision-making phase. Search engine marketing presents the best opportunity to present that information in powerful ways. Most people do not look to advertising or social media to provide the information needed to make a purchasing decision"

The Free Publicity Focus Group offers marketing consulting services to authors and publishers, small business and service business clients. The company specializes in marketing strategy development. The range of specific services includes search engine marketing, search engine optimization, Internet marketing and publicity and a host of other services that assist companies and individuals in the implementation of marketing strategies that produce results.

"Content driven, search engine marketing approaches are not new of course," McCauley continued, "but the takeaway point here is that this marketing approach will not fade away or end up as yet another fad. Content marketing is a complete transformation of the marketing model. It's here to stay. Those who hope to achieve a high level of success will need to implement this type of strategy or risk failure."

The company offers no charge ebooks, reports and video training at the Free Publicity Focus Group website. These can be downloaded and put to use immediately by those hoping to create success by utilizing proven, common sense marketing methods, tools and strategies.

Don McCauley is available for media interview and can be reached using the information below. More information is available at the website. More information is available at no charge at the group's website. 'The Best Marketing Strategy Ever?' video can be viewed at the company blog at http://www.FreePublicityGroup.com/blog.
